LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The Lyndhurst Board of Commissioners approved an increase of $146,578 in funding to help pave more streets recently, according to NorthJersey.com.
The additional funding is an increase of 12.35 percent over the original contract awarded to Smith Sondy Asphalt Contstruction Co. Officials are permitted by law to increase funding to a contract by up to 20 percent without requiring a new bidding process, NorthJersey.com reported.
