Breakfast Meetings In Lyndhurst For Diabetics, Seniors

LYNDHURST, N.J. — Two special breakfast programs for Lyndhurst residents are scheduled this month.

The Health Department will have a breakfast seminar for diabetics and others who are interested on Friday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m.

“Diabetic Holiday Eating” will be presented by Julie Harrington, registered dietician at Inserra ShopRite. The breakfast is in the Recreation Room at 601 Riverside Avenue.

The Department of Parks & Recreation will host a breakfast for township senior citizens Sunday, Nov. 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Senior Citizen Center on Cleveland Ave.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and breakfast will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
