Come To Home-Buying Seminar In Lyndhurst, North Arlington

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Kearny Bank is hosting two free first-time homebuyer seminars coming up in June, in Lyndhurst and North Arlington.

Those contemplating buying a home are welcome to attend two home-buying seminars by Kearny Bank.

The first session is on Thursday, June 9, at the bank's Lyndhurst office, at 307 Stuyvesant Ave. The second will be on Tuesday, June 14, at the North Arlington office, at 80 Ridge Rd.

Both will begin at 7 p.m., and refreshments will be served.

The seminars will cover a variety of topics, including

credit, income and assets
downpayment requirements
first-time homebuyer discounts
appraisals
fixed rates versus adjustable rates
loan estimates and closing costs

For each, a Kearney mortgage advisor and industry experts will lead the seminar. At the Lyndhurst session, the speakers will be Kearny mortgage advisor John Bryan; realtor Gianna Botbyl from Living New Jersey Realty; and attorney John Cozzi, of Cozzi and Cozzi. The speakers haven't yet been finalized for the second seminar.
