One of the recurring events at the Senior Citizen Center is free afternoon movies. The movies are on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, starting at noon, and pizza, hot dogs, coffee and soda are included.

There's also a free monthly dinner, from January through October, at the Carucci Apartments. Call 201-896-1629 to sign up.

The department also has a senior luncheon planned for Nov. 20.

The department has a November Radio City Music Hall trip planned -- but it's already booked full. Monthly Atlantic City casino trips run from spring to fall.

Besides sporting activities and senior activities, the department also does a variety of activities throughout the year. For example, around Christmas, it runs "Santa's Mailbox," where folks answer kids' letters.

Use of the Senior Citizen Center is free, and it's located at 250 Cleveland Ave. For more information about programs for seniors, visit the township website or call 201-804-2482.
