Lyndhurst Health Department Offering Blood Screenings

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The Lyndhurst Health Department, under the direction of Mayor Robert B. Giangeruso, will host its bi-annual blood screening on Wednesday, June 1, beginning at 8 a.m.

The blood screening, which is available to Lyndhurst residents over the age of 18, will include a chemistry profile, cholesterol level, complete blood count and thyroid level.

A 12-hour fast is required prior to the screening.

Cost of the service is $26.

Payments can be submitted in cash or with a check payable to Medical Laboratory Diagnostics.

Pre-registration is required.
