Lyndhurst Provides Summer Camp For K-8 Kids

LYNDHURST, N.J. – The Lyndhurst Summer Day Camp will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, Aug. 12 at the Lyndhurst High School.

The camp is provided to Lyndhurst residents with children in grades K-8 and non-residents with children attending Sacred Heart School in Lyndhurst. The child must be going into kindergarten this September and be 5 years old before July 5.

The drop-off location for the camp is at Lyndhurst High School on Weart Avenue between Fern and Forest. The registration fee for six weeks is $300 for the first child, $250 for the second child and $200 for the third or more. Before care (7-8:30 a.m.) and after care (3-6 p.m.) will be provided. Both will be provided at the youth center on Fern and Grant avenues. The fee is $5 per child per day for before care and $10 per child per day for after care.

Camp T-shirts can be ordered and paid for during registration. The cost per T-shirt is $7. They will be available for pickup starting Monday, June 27 at the Lyndhurst Parks Department between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Activity booklets providing detailed information on the activities provided to children are available at the parks department. Parents must review the activity booklets before registering. The registration deadline is Friday, June 10. A $50 late fee will be charged if registering after June 10. No registrations will be accepted after Friday, June 17. Click here to register
