LYNDHURST, N.J. -- A free talk by Scott Weidensaul, “Birds and Beans: Simple Ways to Save Migratory Birds,” is set for Friday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m., at the Meadowlands Environment Center, Two DeKorte Park Plaza in Lyndhurst.

Join Weidensaul, one of the nations’s leading naturalists and birding authors, will discus ways to help the plight of migratory birds.

Weidensaul is the author of more than two dozen books, including Pulitzer Prize-finalist, “Living on the Wind.” His latest book is “The Peterson Reference Guide to Owls of North America and the Caribbean,” and will be available for purchase.
