LYNDHURST, N.J. — Registration for winter swim lessons is in progress at the Lyndhurst Parks Department.

It is open to residents and nonresidents.

Classes will be taught by Bergen County Swim America. Registration forms and payment are only accepted at the Parks Department and will not be accepted at the pool. Swim America lessons are designed to teach all the swimming skills a child needs to be safe in and around the water for a lifetime. Safety skills are a big focus.

Classes will be Saturdays from Jan. 2 through Feb. 13. Sessions are from 9:30-10:10 a.m. or 10:15-10:55 a.m. Cost is $100 per six classes. Make checks payable to: “Township of Lyndhurst.”

The class will be at the Lyndhurst Community Pool, 400 Weart Ave. The Lyndhurst Parks Department is at 250 Cleveland Ave.
