Wave Van Coming To Lyndhurst

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The Lyndhurst Health Department, under the direction of Mayor Robert Giangeruso, is partnering with Clara Maass Medical Center to bring the WAVE van to the Carucci Senior Building.

The Clara Maass Medical Center's Wellness Assessment Van for Elders (WAVE) is a no-cost, mobile van that provides annual wellness visits for Medicare-eligible seniors by the health care experts at Clara Maass Medical Center.

The visit is designed to help prevent future illness and injury and consists of a personalized review of each senior's health habits and simple screenings.

The WAVE van will be at the Carucci Senior Building, 281 Stuyvesant Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18.
