Family Establishes Fund For Comatose Lyndhurst Father

LYNDHURST, N.J. — A GoFundMe account was established Friday, No. 13, for a Lyndhurst man who was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center the night before after he was found unconscious.

Richard Metcalf was pronounced comatose by doctors who were unsure whether he'd ever come out of it.

“Unfortunately things are not cheap and we would like everyone to help in any way that they can,” account founder Kaitlyn Metcalf wrote. “Our family would greatly appreciate it. Even the littlest bit helps.”
