Nearly $7K Raised In GoFundMe Campaign For Teen With Leukemia

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. — Nearly $7,000 has been raised as of Tuesday night on a GoFundMe campaign for a seventh grade student at North Arlington Middle School.

Arianna Hoyos was diagnosed with Leukemia in December 2015. Her family is seeking help paying for medical expenses.

The campaign has a fundraising goal of $10,000. So far, 135 people have contributed to the campaign since it was launched last Wednesday.

Hoyos is currently receiving treatment in the hospital for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

She and her family moved to North Arlington this past year. Hoyos has a younger sister in fifth grade at Jefferson Elementary School.
