The home decoration tradition started 25 years ago by then Recreation Director Skip McKeown to recognize residents who make an effort to beautify their neighborhood by putting up a holiday display.
This year, every winner got a home decorating sign placed in their front yard.
"The recreation commission would like to thank all the residents who made the effort to put up lights and other holiday decorations," said President of the Recreation Commission Brian McGeehan “If the commission had 100 signs to hand out it still wouldn’t be enough. The town really goes all out during the holiday season and it’s a great sight to see”.
