Prep School Teacher From North Arlington Charged With Sex Crimes

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- A prep school art teacher who lives in North Arlington faces criminal sexual charges after being accused of harassing and inappropriately touching at least three girls, multiple news outlets report.

Francisco Pereira, 31, was charged with three counts of criminal sexual contact, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of harassment, and one count of luring or enticing a child, NBC reports.

He was released on his own recognizance pending an April 27 court appearance, the station said.

The County Prep High School teacher is not to have any contact with the Jersey City school or the victims, the station reports.
