Anne M. Cicchino, 87, Former North Arlington Resident

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Anne M. (Battaglia) Cicchino -- a Brick resident, formerly of North Arlington -- died on Sunday, Jan. 29. She was 87.

Born in Linden, Cicchino lived in North Arlington before moving to Brick 33 years ago. She was an avid bowler who was a member of bowling leagues in both North Arlington and Toms River. 

She also volunteered at West Hudson Hospital in Kearny for many years, and for the Ocean County Humane Society. During the 1960's, she was an assistant coach for the North Arlington Girls Softball League.

Cicchino is survived by her children, Martin Cicchino and his partner Scott Briggs, Robert Cicchino and his wife Donna, and Sue Farrell; and grandchildren John Cicchino, Jessica Cicchino, Breanne Farrell and her fiance Eddy Tejada, and Michael Farrell. 

She was preceded by her husband Martin Cicchino; son Raymond Cicchino; and son-in-law John.

The funeral was held on Wednesday morning, Feb. 1, from the Parow Funeral Home, then to a funeral mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, in North Arlington. Entombment was in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, also in North Arlington.
