NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Constance Meehan, of North Arlington, died on Friday, Jan. 13. She was 83.
Born in New York City she moved to North Arlington during her high school years. She quickly made friends and was voted most talkative and popular in her class. She married her sweetheart Gregory and together they raised their family in North Arlington. She was the borough clerk for over 30 years before retiring in 2003. She willingly helped anyone in need with a smile and a joke.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Meehan; children, Colleen Meehan Borenstein, Suzanne Salzmann, Kerry-Ellen Dorio, Cynthia Meehan and Robert Meehan; and her five grandchildren.
Funeral mass is Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. at Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
