Frank P. Sullivan, 89, Lifelong North Arlington Resident

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Frank P. Sullivan, of North Arlington, died on Wednesday, Jan. 11. He was 89.

Born in Newark, Sullivan was a lifelong resident of North Arlington and a member of the North Arlington BPO Elks Lodge No. 1992. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

He was a self-employed insurance broker for many years, before he retired in 2014.

Sullivan is survived by his children, Susan Hunkele and her husband Stephen, Janice Cahill and her husband Mark, and Paul Sullivan; grandchildren Bryan and Christine Hunkele, and Alex and Eric Cahill; and great-granddaughter Harper Hunkele.

He was predeceased by his wife, Florence (Mills) Sullivan, and his son, Daniel Sullivan.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd., in North Arlington. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, in North Arlington.   

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Friends of the North Arlington Public Library, 210 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, NJ 07031.
