George P. Anacleto, 63, Of North Arlington

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. – George P. Anacleto of North Arlington died Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Hackensack University Medical Center. He was 63.

Anacleto was born in Portugal, emigrated to New York City, then moved to North Arlington in 1983. He worked as a truck driver for the Metro-Tech Co. in Queens before retiring in 2008.

He was predeceased by his parents. Henrique and Francelina Anacleto. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (nee Koberski), his daughter, Nicole; his son, Bryan, and his wife, Rachel; his daughter, Victoria and her husband, Raymond Cardin; three grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth and Luisa Metrena; various in-laws, family members and friends.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 4-8 p.m. at Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, with funeral services following on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington.
