BLOOMFIELD, N.J. -- Jillian Anne Torre -- a Bloomfield resident, formerly of North Bergen -- died on Friday, May 20. She was 36.
Torre attended John F. Kennedy School, North Bergen High School and William Paterson University. She was an avid music lover and concert attendee, an animal rights activist and a strict vegetarian.
She is survived by her parents, Gina Torre and James Catalan; twin sister Jennifer Torre; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, and from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., in Lyndhurst. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Friday, with a 10 a.m. funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will be at the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
Memorial donations to any no kill animal shelter -- for example, the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge -- would be appreciated.
