WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Joan Mras Boharczyk, a resident of Wallington, died Wednesday, May 18. She was 80.
She was born May 31,1935, in Garfield, and lived in Wallington most of her life.
She was a paramutual teller at the Meadowlands Race Track in East Rutherford for 18 years, retiring in 1997. Previously, she worked for the Spencer Savings Bank in Garfield and Wallington. She was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington, and league treasurer for the Wallington Little league.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Bohnarczyk, and his wife Nancy of Somerset, Eugene Bohnarczyk Jr., and his wife Kerry, and twins Joseph and James Bohnarczyk, all of Wallington; grandchildren, Katherine, Andrew, Bradley, Amanda, Joseph, Thomas, Alysha; great-grandson Michael; sister-in-law, Betty; and brother-in-law Joseph Bohnarczyk.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Bohnarczyk; and brother, Thomas Mras.
