NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- John Farrell, of North Arlington, died Sunday, May 1. He was 57.
Born in Scotland, Farrell was raised in Kearny and has lived in North Arlington since 1983. He worked for PSE&G in Jersey City for the past 36 years as a working inspector and was a member of the IBEW Local 94 of Cranbury.
He was an avid fisherman and golfer, and loved to watch soccer.
Farrell is survived by his wife, Sue (Cicchino) Farrell; children Breanne Farrell and her fiance Eddy Tejada, and Michael Farrell; brothers Ralph and Alex Farrell; nieces and nephew Shannon, John and Jessica; and in-laws Anne Cicchino, Bob and Donna Cicchino.
He was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Farrell (Beckett), and his brother-in-law, Raymond Cicchino.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd., in North Arlington. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on on Wednesday, thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington, for a 10 a.m. funeral mass. Cremation will be private.
