John Louis Jablonski, 94, Of North Arlington

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- John Louis Jablonski " Jack ", of North Arlington, died on Dec. 12. He was 94.

Jablonski was born in Jersey City he lived in North Arlington before moving to Nutley 14 years ago. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the V.F.W. Post # 4697 of North Arlington. He worked as a driver and lift operator for the Continental Can Company in Totowa for 15 years before retiring in 1989. Previously he worked as a quality control inspector for the American Can Company in Jersey City for 35 years. 

Jablonski is predeceased by his wife, Pauline. He is survived by his children, Carol Bovasso and Richard Jablonski; grandchildren, Kenneth and Heather Bovasso; and great-grandchild, Alyssa Bovasso. 

Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The family will receive friends on Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and again from 7-9 p.m.
