Lyndhurst High School Mourns Teacher, 41

LYNDHURST, N.J. – Brian Fuschetto, a popular business and technology teacher at Lyndhurst High School, died Thursday. He was 41.

Fuschetto, who lived in Hackensack and grew up in Norwood, “loved his job and was very committed to his students and colleagues,” his obituary states.

He taught business and technology courses at Lyndhurst High School, where he also served as the advisor for Future Business Leaders of America and the Consumer Bowl team and co-advisor for the Peer Group Connection and the Academic Competition Team.

Fuschetto was also an adjunct professor at Bergen Community College in Paramus.

He was pre-deceased by his mother, Pamela Ennis Fuschetto. He is survived by his father, Michael Fuschetto, siblings Amy Gradley and her husband, Kevin, and Kevin Fuschetto and his wife, Linda, nieces and nephews Jake, Luke, Abbey and Caitlyn, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave. in Summit. A service will take place at 7 p.m. during the visitation.
