Maria Zoé Cruz, 70, North Arlington Resident

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Maria Zoé Cruz, of North Arlington, died on Tuesday, Jan. 24. She was 70.

Born in Puerto Rico, Cruz "loved cooking, dancing, listening to music, traveling and taking care of her family," information from the funeral home noted.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Juan Cruz; children, Jean Cruz-Rivera, Melissa Cruz-Nagelbush, Emely Cruz and Jason Cruz; and sons- and daughter-in-law Eddie Rivera Jr., Richard Nagelbush and Wanda Cruz.

Cruz is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin and Jonathan Santiago, Cristylee Nagelbush, Jacob Rivera, Jasmine Zoé and Joshua Poventud, and Jillian, Jordan Cruz and Jackson Cruz; 10 siblings; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ramon Octavio and Maria Maximina Collazo, and her grandson, Christopher Rivera.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday, Jan. 26-27, at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., in Lyndhurst. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, from the funeral home, with an 11 a.m. funeral mass at the Queen of Peace Church, 10 Franklin Place, in North Arlington. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
