NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Paul Stecz Sr., of North Arlington, died Saturday, Sept. 3.
He was born in Jersey City and he lived there until moving to North Arlington 18 years ago.
He was a driver/mechanic for Jencarli Transportation in Paterson before retiring.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; children, Paul and Doreen; grandchildren, Taylor, Quinn, Shaelan and Murphy; and siblings, Irene, Ann, Joseph, John and Margaret.
There will be a funeral at 10 a.m. Friday at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, thence to Holy Cross Church, 323 Harrison Ave., Harrison for an 11 a.m. funeral Mass. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in North Arlington. Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
