WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Sophie Kaprowski, 91, of Wallington, died Sun, Oct. 23.
She was born May 14, 1925, and prior to her retirement was an administrative assistant employed by Howe Richardson Scale in Clifton.
She was a parishioner of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington and was a member of AARP.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Kaprowski Sr.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Kaprowski and Kathy of Mahwah and Anthony Kaprowski Jr. and Mary; grandchildren, Eric and Allison and the late Kenneth and Brett; great-grandchildren, Miles, Michael, Mark, Hailey Madison and Nora; and siblings, late Edward and Walter Kwasnik, Josephine Melowiec, Florence Salek, Stashia Chudzik, Emily Dypko and Jean Callahan.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Kamienski Funeral Home of Wallington, 106 Locust Ave., Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, 127 Paterson Ave., Wallington.
