The $184,000 2015 Ford E450 comes fully-equipped and was built by PL Custom Emergency Vehicles.

The new ambulance has the most updated safety features, Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad Captain Tarcisio Nunes said.

"During the most recent snow storm there were three ambulances ready to go," Nunes said. "The third ambulance allows us to ensure that all three ambulances can go through a maintenance rotation to ensure the trucks are in tip top shape."
