LYNDHURST, N.J. — Township attorney Richard DiLascio will be fired and replaced by interim township attorney Carmine R. Alampi at Thursday evening's municipal meeting, NorthJersey.com reports.

Alampi's employment will be retroactive, effective May 16 at a rate of $15,000 per month, the article says.

DiLascio was recently investigated for theft of services and violations to his contract with Lyndhurst — he wasn't meeting his required minimum hours weekly and was also not documenting his hours, according to NorthJersey.com.
