Steve Tanelli Likely To Lead Bergen County Freeholders in 2016

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. -- Bergen County Freeholder Steve Tanelli may become the next chairman of the board following the annual reorganization meeting Jan. 6, according to NorthJersey.com.

A majority of freeholders reportedly have confirmed the North Arlington Democrat is their choice to succeed Joan Voss, who served as chairwoman the past year, the story said.

Tanelli was elected to his second term as freeholder in November and previously served as a North Arlington councilman for nine years, the story said. He is senior art director for Modavo Group Inc. and also serves as chairman of the board's parks, labor and planning and economic development and public works committees, the story said.
