Lyndhurst Recreation Center Sets Pre-K Program Open House, Registration

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The Lyndhurst Department of Parks and Recreation has announced its pre-K open house and registration.

The event is from 7:30-9 p.m. Tuesday at the recreation center, 862 Valley Brook Ave. Parents are invited to come and view the facility and meet its staff. 

The program has two sessions per day, a morning session from 8:40-11:10 a.m. and an afternoon session from 12:15-2:45 p.m.

The program is open to children who turn 4 by Oct. 1. 

The cost is $10 per day and it must be paid monthly. 

Registration for the September 2016 through June 2017 school year begins March 23. It will take place at the Parks and Recreation Department, 250 Cleveland Ave. Parents can pick up a pre-K packet between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays.
