Lyndhurst's Run Of Rainy Weather Could Linger Until Mid-June

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. – Memorial Day may have marked the unofficial start to summer, but steady rains and near-constant cloud cover have left Bergen County residents wondering what happened to the sun and when will Summer finally arrive?

Rain is expected to continue for a few more weeks all over the East Coast.

Unfortunately, long-range predictions suggest the unsettled, soggy weather pattern will persist into the first few weeks in June, according to Accuweather.com

Many areas along the Interstate 95 corridor have sustained more days with rain than without which has created problems with mold and mildew.

The steady rains have also made it tough to warm unheated pools and lakes, accuweather.com said.

The good news?

Summer hasn't been canceled just yet.

Accuweather's long-range forecast calls for the rain to finally move on and for temperatures to bounce back by mid-June.
