Carolers, Toy Soldiers On Stilts Mark Lyndhurst's Holiday In The Park

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The Township of Lyndhurst will host the annual “Holiday in the Park” on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Lyndhurst will usher in the holiday season with the annual Holiday in the Park, offering free framed photos with Santa Claus, as well as entertainment and food for children and adults.

The 6 - 9 p.m. event will be held in Town Hall Park on Delafield Avenue. The rain date is Dec. 11.

The Mayor and Commissioners invite the community to celebrate the holiday season together. Residents can enjoy free horse-and-carriage rides, trackless train rides, roasted chestnuts, hot cocoa, donuts, hot apple cider, eggnog and coffee. A variety of other foods, arts and crafts will be available for purchase.

The annual town-wide event will usher in the season, complete with a a costumed character revue, meet-and-greet with Charlie Brown and Snoopy, Elmo and Elf on a Shelf, as well as strolling Victorian carolers and toy soldiers on stilts.

Events include performances from the Art of Dance, the Lyndhurst School Choir and The Cameos.

There will also be free framed photos with Santa, sponsored by Boiling Springs Savings Bank, and free hair braiding and extensions courtesy of Once Upon A Curl.
