Stuck In Barbados: Lyndhurst Passenger Returns From Hellish Tropical Cruise

Kaminski and hundreds of other passengers boarded a Norwegian Cruise ship on Halloween, ready to set sail for a relaxing 11-day trip to the Caribbean, NBC reports.

Due to a failed propulsion system, the ship did not return to Pier 88 in New York City until Dec. 6, the article says.

Norwegian gave the passengers three options, NBC said: a plane ticket home, take another cruise home from Florida, or stay in hotels in the Caribbean until the ship returned to New York.

Kaminksi told NBC her stay in Barbados was far from a vacation.
