NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Doris W. Ryan, of North Arlington, died Sunday, Nov. 6. She was 90.
She was born May 21, 1926, in Jersey City and lived in North Arlington for more than 40 years before moving to Manhattan five years ago. She worked in the administration department at the British Oxygen Company in Lebanon for 53 years before retiring at 77. She was the longest-working employee in the history of the company. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner of Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington .
She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Ryan.
She is survived by her son, John W. Ryan.
Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
