Emery 'Bob' Miskuff Jr., 86, Wallington Resident

WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Emery "Bob" Miskuff Jr., of Wallington, died on Sunday, Sept. 18. He was 86.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, Miskuff was a construction superintendent for Belle Meade in Roseland. He worked there over 10 years and retired at the age of 60.

He was a lifelong parishioner of Most Holy Name Roman Catholic Church in Garfield. He was a member of Local No. 253. "He enjoyed playing cards with friends every Thursday night, and when he was younger he raced pigeons," information from the funeral home noted.

Miskuff is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children Dawn Lazoff and her husband Rodger, Scott Miskuff and his wife Joanie, and Mark Miskuff; grandchildren Heather, Alan, John Emery and Samantha; and sister Joan Jackson and her husband Gary.

He was predeceased by his brother, Richard.

Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., in Carlstadt. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Thursday, for a 9:30 funeral mass at Most Holy Name Church in Garfield. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, in North Arlington.
