Laura A. Puma Fernandez, 71, Longtime North Arlington Resident

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. — Longtime North Arlington resident Laura A. Puma Fernandez died Wednesday, May 11. She was 71.

A New York native, Fernandez lived in Long Island before moving to North Arlington 50 years ago.

She performed clerical work for the Bound Company in Fairfield for eight years before retiring nine years ago.

Previously, she worked at the Century Glove Company in Newark for 20 years.

Fernandez is survived by her husband, Carmine; her brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Private graveside services were conducted at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington under the direction of the Parow Funeral Home.
