Leona "Lee" Jean Chilek Of Lyndhurst

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Leona "Lee" Jean MacDonald Chilek, of Lyndhurst, died on Dec. 19.

She was born in Avoca, Penn. and graduated from Avoca High School. She retired some years ago from Browns Letters. She was a long time member of Mt. Carmel Church Choir and their other organizations, plus both Lyndhurst senior citizen groups. She enjoyed her family, dancing and going to Atlantic City with her long time friend Jean Lacidonia. 

She is survived by two daughters, Eileen Chilek Wilder (husband Stephen) and Patricia Chilek (fiancée Robert Crevaux) plus sisters Agnes Cunningham, Lois Dills, brother William MacDonald, Jr. (Ann MacDonald) and many nieces and nephews.two daughters, Eileen Chilek Wilder (husband Stephen) and Patricia Chilek (fiancée Robert Crevaux). 

She is predeceased by her husband, George F. Chilek; and five of her eight siblings, Marie Parry, Rosalie Cummings, Geraldine Wilson, Eleanor Wirth and Joan Smerdon. 

Friends will be received on Thursday, 7-9 p.m. at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 8:30 a.m. A mass at 9:30 a.m. takes place at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
