KEARNY, N.J. -- Reyna M. (Fassero DeGregorio) Tapia -- a Kearny resident, formerly of North Arlington -- died on Tuesday, June 21. She was 73.
Born in Argentina, Tapia was a primary school teacher while living in Buenos Aires.
She is survived by her husband, Carlos Tapia; children Carlos Tapia, and Alejandro Tapia and his wife Angela; grandchildren Nayomi and Amaya Rose; siblings Benigna Maria de los Angeles Fassero DeGregorio, Enrique Fassero DeGregorio and Jose Fassero DeGregorio; and many nieces and nephews.
Tapia was predeceased by her brother, Jesus Fassero DeGregorio.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, June 24, at the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, in North Arlington. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, in North Arlington, for a 10:45 a.m. funeral mass. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, in North Arlington.
