Mr. Bruno's Pizzeria and Restaurant will be donating 20% of all proceeds from 6 p.m. until closing on Dec. 11 to the Special Angels.

Anyone who dines in or orders delivery and mentions the Special Angels will have 20% of their total check donated to the unique group.

It all began in 2005, after Deborah Wertalik's grandson was diagnosed with autism at 4.

Wertalik and her daughter -- Tyler's mom, Tara Banuls -- founded the group to raise money for children like Tyler.

The organization – also known as Putting the Pieces Together – offers flag football, basketball, dance, cheerleading, soccer, t-ball and softball for special needs children and continues to add special events to its program.

That includes therapeutic canvas painting and, earlier this year, an "extreme prom" complete with a hair and party bus, photo booth, full buffet, corsages and more.
