Paulina Urban was nominated by teacher Bonnie Luberto.

Urban is an ESL teacher who travels between the high school and Gavlak School. Her students range from kindergarten to seniors. Planning and preparation span a wide range of academic and developmental needs.

She is a co‐organizer of the ESL Holiday Brunch, and this year facilitated the publishing of the ELL Holiday Cookbook (hard copy available upon request through the ESL Department). She is also active as the 7th grade advisor, JV volleyball coach and supervises open gyms for other athletic programs.

As a graduate of Wallington High School, Urban embraces the community spirit of volunteerism through her work with the Dave Popek Memorial Scholarship program and the Polskie Harcerstwo (Polish Scouts).

She is a die‐hard NJ Devils fan and has donated several of her season tickets to local causes. She is organizing the second Family Night with the NJ Devils for March 20; details to come.
